What is recorded here

Situated in the centre of a cashel (CL009-097----), this inaccessible souterrain (traceable L 12m; av. Wth 2.5m) is orientated NW-SE. A partially displaced roof lintel (L 1.7m; Wth 0.8m; T 0.2m) lies toward the SE end, with an area of loose stones to its SE, through which the drystone side-walling is visible. To the NW of the lintel, the line of the souterrain is traceable as a low bank (H 0.1-0.3m). An ESB pole has been erected c. 4m to the SE of the souterrain.
