Near the W edge of a plateau, in rough pasture within a multiperiod field system (CL009-084001-). Hachured on the OS 25-inch plan (1842) and the 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This subcircular cashel (ext. dims. 24.1m N-S; 20.1m E-W) is defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2-3.5m; ext. H 0.5-1m). Intermittent outer wall-facing (H 0.5m) is visible from N to E; it can hardly be traced from S to SW where the wall has fallen completely out. It may survive behind the spill at W. The inner edge of the spread is flush with the interior. A gap (Wth 2m) at W is a later feature. There is a souterrain (CL009-084028-) in the N half of the interior. Field boundaries extend off the cashel at E, SE, SW, W and NW. An enclosure (CL010-249----) lies c. 140m to the NE.
