What is recorded here

Situated on an E-facing slope. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Indicated by a solid line on the 1916 OS 6-inch map. On inspection in 1997 this was found to be a subrectangular drystone-walled enclosure (c. 9m x 9m) of relatively modern construction defined by stones laid with their long axis to the centre and set on edge.
