Situated in a hollow on a S-facing slope in a hazel wood. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Indicated by a solid line on the 1916 OS 6-inch map. On inspection in 1997 this was found to be a large enclosure (diam. c. 60m) defined by a much collapsed drystone wall (Wth 1.5-2m; H 0.5-1m) of modern construction. There are some large loose boulders (up to 1m) in the wall but mostly the stones are small.
