In a low-lying area in pasture, partly covered by trees, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-030001-). Hachured on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. This poorly preserved subcircular cashel (32.8m WNW–ESE; 31.2m NNE–SSW) is defined by a stone wall (est. Wth c. 2m; int. H 0.3–1.2m; ext. H 0.4–1.6m), the outer face of which is visible; the inner side of the wall is obscured by stone collapse (H 0.3–0.5m).
An enclosure (CL009-040004-) abuts the E side, and appears to have been an annexe. A house (CL009-040005-) lies c. 10m to the N at the edge of a ravine. A subrectangular enclosure (CL009-040002-) lies c. 33m to the N and another cashel (CL009-040001-) lies c. 50m to the NNW.
