On a plateau, within a multiperiod field system (CL009-255---), immediately to the W of a N-S running laneway that leads to a farmhouse to the N. Indicated on Robinson’s map (1977). This grass-covered E–W oriented wedge tomb (L 2.2m E–W; int. Wth at W 1.12m narrowing to 1.1m at E) is defined by a single upright stone slab on each side. The internal height of the chamber increases from W (H 0.86m) to E and it is covered neatly by a capstone. This capstone rests on each upright except that at E end (L 1.25m; H 0.56m) which may have been moved as there is a gap (L 0.45m) at N side of this end of the chamber. The W end is incorporated into a N-S running field wall.
