What is recorded here

Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). This is a circular enclosure (int. diam. c. 36m) defined by a drystone wall (H 1.2m) built directly on the ground. The interior slopes down severely to E and SE with a natural mound to the W of centre, the top of which is flush with the base of the W wall. At W the wall is built on an old mound wall that probably forms part of an older field system (CL009-021001-). Compiled by: Mary Tunney Date of upload: 15 February 2016

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
