What is recorded here

In pasture at the SE edge of an escarpment running NE–SW on the Burren plateau, within a multiperiod field system (CL005-108001-). A rectangular enclosure (int. dims. 26m E–W; 17m N–S) stands just S of a house (CL009-004----) of indeterminate but possibly post-medieval date, and is defined by a double-faced stone wall (W. c. 1m, H. c. 1.5m). A tumbled gap (W. 2m) in the S wall at its E end may be the remains of an original entrance. Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 22 July 2022
