What is recorded here

On a rise in rough pastureland and karstic outcrop, with wide views and within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). A subcircular platform (24m N-S; 20.5m E-W) defined by a low stone and earth bank (av. Wth 2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.35-1.15m). At NNW the bank is very slightly lower and there is a poorly defined ramp-like feature up to it from the exterior. At SE several metres of the bank have been reduced to a scarp; some loose rubble lies scattered about here. The cashel interior undulates slightly, sloping gently to the S. A kidney-shaped hollow (7m NW-SE; 4.9m NE-SW; D 0.3m) lies just inside the N perimeter and a small oval mound (L 3.5m NW-SE; 1m NE-SW; H 0.15m) lies near the W edge.
