What is recorded here

On a hilltop in rough, boggy pasture, with wide views. The site comprises a very low (H 0.2m), subcircular mound (17m E-W; 16.5m N-S) surrounded by a wide, shallow fosse (Wth c. 2m; D 0.15-0.25m) SSE-W-NNE, and by a faint scarp NNE-E-SSE. A low, earthen bank (Wth 2.6m; H 0.1m) survives along the edge of the mound SSE-W. Two barrows are visible nearby; CL008-117---- c. 170m to the SSW and CL008-118---- c. 160m to the SE.
