On undulating ground in pasture, with boggy land to the N and S and wide views especially W-N. Hachured on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. This circular ring-barrow (diam. 20.5m) is defined by a shallow fosse (av. Wth 2m) and an outer bank (Wth 3.7m; int. H 0.35-0.75m; ext. H 0.2-0.95m), the inner face of which has eroded away at the SE. The central mound (diam. 9.5m; H over fosse 0.45-0.6m) is dome-shaped, with a shallow depression in the middle. There is another ring-barrow (CL008-065----) c. 88m to the NE.
