On a hillock in undulating pastureland, with wide views in all directions, and overlooking another ring-barrow (CL008-038002-) c. 21m to the E. Indicated as a barrow on Robinson's (1977) map. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the RMP (1996). This subcircular ring-barrow (ext. dims. 14.5m E-W; 13m N-S) comprises a flat-topped earthen mound (diam. 5.1m; H 0.2-0.3m) enclosed by a flat-based steep-sided fosse (Wth 1.7-1.95m) and a round-topped outer bank (Wth 2.15-2.8m; int. H 0.25-0.45m; ext. H 0.4-0.6m). There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.9m) and causeway over the fosse at the S.
