In rough pasture on the top of a natural scarp sloping to the N, in an area of uneven ground and karstic limestone outcrops, within a large multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). Listed as 'Potential site - aerial photo' in the RMP (1996). A possible enclosure was noted on Air Corps aerial photography (ACAP V247/62) taken in June 1957. On inspection in August 1998, no visible surface trace of it could be detected. However, it is still evident on more recent aerial imagery (OSi MapGenie 1995, Digital Globe 2011-2013 and Aerial Premium 2013-2018) where it appears as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 31m) defined by a grassed-over wall, suggesting it may be the remains of a cashel. Another grass-covered field wall extends off the it at E and curves southwards.
