On top of a gentle rise in undrained pasture and bogland. Hachured on the 1897 OS 25-inch plan and the 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, with a roughly NNE-SSW running road crossing the W half of it. This subcircular rath (29.9m E-W; 27.5m N-S) is defined by a round-topped bank (Wth 2.3m; int. H 0.4m at N; ext. H 0.3-0.65m), which is best preserved to the W of the road, and a shallow flat-based external fosse (Wth 3-4.5m; D 0.1m). Two narrow cattle gaps cross it at S and SSE. The interior slopes gently to the S.
