On a promontory at the S end of Gortaclare Mountain overlooking the Glen of Clab to the S and within a field system (CL006-042001-) extending all over the plateau. Visible on OSi Aerial Premium (2012-2018) and noted by Ros Ó Maoldúin. A mound wall is visible extending across the promontory NW-SE for 37m before it turns NE for 8m before reaching the SE extent of the promontory. This feature cuts off an area of 1.8ha. A mound wall also extends across the adjacent promontory to the E. Compiled by: Mary Tunney Date of upload: 24 November 2021
