What is recorded here

On an E-facing slope in rough karst. A field system of likely multiperiod date. A number of field walls at the SW extent form a fairly rectilinear pattern but apparently of slab wall formation. A possible burial ground (CL006-027----) lies at the SW end. Two fulachtaí fia (CL006-028002- and CL006-028003-) and a holy well (CL006-028001-) lie at the E extent where the karst slope meets reclaimed pasture. This field system was brought to the attention of the National Monuments Service by Ros Ó Maoldúin. Compiled by: Mary Tunney Date of upload: 4 May 2021
