On a level area of rough patchy grazing and bare-rock pavement, within an extensive field system (CL005-160001-). The ground falls away moderately steeply to SE. Listed as ‘burial mound’ in the RMP (1997). A small low subcircular grass and moss-covered cairn of small stones (8m N–S; 7.4m E–W; max. H 0.5m) with a rectangular depression at its centre (2m N–S; 0.9m E–W; D 0.2m). There are two small stones (L 0.4m; Wth 0.1m; H 0.2m) set in the E side of the depression. These appear to be too small to be part of a cist or megalith and may be the remains of an internal revetment. A NW-SE mound wall lies c. 60m to the SW and a wedge tomb (CL006-035003-) is clearly visible c. 350m to the W.
