What is recorded here

On rough grazing beside a small S flowing stream which rises just to the N, at the N end of short valley overlooked to W, N and E by low hazel-clad limestone bluffs. The most N of three fulachtaí fia. A well-preserved, almost classic, horseshoe-shaped, grassed-over mound (ext. dims. 11.2m N–S; 8.9m E–W; max. H 0.6m), abutting a small stream at its open E end. A cattle track to the stream crosses the S limits of the mound and reveals its composition of burnt stone. Two other fulachtaí fia (CL006-045004- and CL006-045005-) lie c. 15m and 50m to the S and all three occur within the multiperiod field system (CL006-042001-) (Jones, Carey and Hennigar 2011, 42).
