On a broad S-facing shelf on the lower slopes of Gortaclare Mountain and within an extensive field system (CL006-042001-). An oval grassed-over mound (c. 4m N-S; c. 3m E-W; H 0.25m at N, 1m at S). Visible on OSi MapGenie 2013-2018. A spring emerges from the terrace c. 10m to the SSW. A possible cist (CL006-042018-) lies c. 50m to the WNW. (Carey 2009, 124)
