What is recorded here

In a small copse of ash trees and fenced off. Indicated and named ‘Blessed Bush’ on the 1842 and 1915 eds. of the OS 6-inch maps. An old ivy-clad blackthorn tree, just S of which a spring emerges. The spring now feeds a small concrete water tank and a dry stream bed runs along the W side. A mound (CL006-006001-) is located c. 30m to the S, a children’s burial ground (CL006-003001-) c. 180m to the SSW and an enclosure (CL006-007----) c. 100m to the NNE.
