In an area of flat limestone pavement with encroaching hazel scrub to the N and W within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL009-255----). Marked by T. Coffey on an annotated SMR map in 1994 (SMR file). A pronounced subcircular earth and gravel mound (diam. 5-6m) highest to the SE (H 1.5m), falling to the N (H 0.6m). The mound has been heavily burrowed by badgers and there is a hawthorn tree growing from its SE side.
