On a raised area of rough pasture and scrub, within a multiperiod field system (CL005-115001-) and with commanding views in all directions. Hachured on the 1842 and 1916 eds. of the OS 6-inch maps. A roughly circular cashel (24m E-W; 22.5m N-S) defined by a bank of stone (Wth 2m; int. H 0.7-1m) with some possible outer-wall facing at SSE and SW (H 0.4-0.6m). The enclosing bank is broken by a modern cattle gap at NE.
