On an elevated ridge of rough pasture in a multiperiod field system (CL005-115001-) with views from NE to NW. Listed as an ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). Hachured on the 1842 and 1916 eds of the 6-inch OS maps. A poorly preserved, roughly circular cashel (int. dims. 23m E-W; 17.5m N-S) defined by a low discontinuous wall (Wth 1-1.5m; max. Another cashel (CL005-114002-) is located c. 20m to the NW and a pair of enclosures lie c. 100m to the NNW (CL005-202001- and CL005-202002-).
