In a slight hollow on high elevated pasture, within a mulitperiod field system (CL005-104001-). Listed as a ‘Rectangular enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). Indicated on the 1916 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. A poorly surviving and largely rebuilt, roughly rectangular, cashel (34m N-S; 33m E-W) defined by an externally faced wall (Wth 0.4-0.6m; H 0.2-6m). A hut site (CL005-106001-) with a lintelled roof is built onto the exterior near the W end of the N wall. A later wall is built on most of the cashel perimeter. Field walls, some of which may be of antiquity, radiate off from each corner.
