On an elevated ridge, on the townland boundary between Dangan and Kilweelran, with impressive views in all directions and within an extensive field system (CL005-104001-). Indicated on Robinson’s (1997) map of the Burren.
A large stone cairn (diam. 14m; H 1.2-1.8m). Some possible facing at NW may be the remains of a wall or other structure built into the cairn. Stone has been robbed from the centre of the cairn, creating cavities. Two modern walls meet at the cairn and extend over its E side. A large enclosure (CL005-060002-) is located c. 30m to the E.
