On a high (between 600 and 700 foot contours), level terrace on the NW slopes of Knockaunsmountain (OD 978’). Visible on Ordnance Survey orthophotography (2013-2018) as an oval area (est. diams. c. 30m N-S; c. 22m E-W) defined by a drystone wall SW-N-SE and by a scarp SE-SW. A probably later field wall crosses the interior and separates the enclosure walling from the scarped area between SE and SW.
Two other field walls, possibly contemporary with the enclosure radiate off it; one at N and the second at ENE which runs for c. 55m ENE to join another enclosure (CL004-118----).
