On a low NW terrace of Knockaunsmountain within a large field system (CL004-098----). A subcircular enclosure (c. 35m N-S; c. 32m E-W) visible on Ordnance Survey ortho photo (2005-2012) and reported to the National Monuments Service by Ros Ó Maoldúin. Another possible cashel (CL004-104----) lies immediately adjacent to the W. Three cashels CL004-003----, CL004-004---- and CL004-007---- lie 60-100m to NW, N and NE respectively.
