On the NW slopes of Slieve Elva and named ‘Poll an Phuca’ on Robinson’s (1977) map and ‘Pollballyelly’ in Dowd’s list of caves (2015, 265). The cave (L 178m) carries a substantial streamway and on inspection in 2009 quantities of limpet shells of unknown date were noted inside of the cave entrance (Robin Sheen pers. comm. 2010) and have been recorded as a shell midden (Dowd 2015).
