What is recorded here

On a low rock rocky hillock in an area of scrub covered depressions with fair views to the N, NE and W. Indicated on the 1915 OS 6-inch map. A subcircular cashel (28m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by a drystone wall with outer facing visible from N to NE (T c. 1m; H 0.8m) and at ESE (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.1m; T 1.2m), overgrown elsewhere. A curved, overgrown, stony bank with internal facing inside the perimeter at S may be a house site (CL004-093003-). A souterrain (CL004-093002-) lies in the N interior. A large glacial erratic (H 1m) is located in the SW quadrant. A cashel and hut site (CL004-092---- and CL004-092002-) are located c. 98m to the W.
