In a sheltered hollow overlooked by higher ground on all sides. Many low rough stone gravemarkers lie S of Oughtdarra Church (CL004-057001-) within the graveyard (CL004-057002-). In 1905 Westropp (1905, 343) noted that ‘only children under seven years of age are buried in the little graveyard’. Described by Cunningham (1980, 16) as in use until recently as a burial place for unbaptised children and those under seven years of age.
