On the interior N face of the structure surrounding Toberpatrick (CL003-021001-). Several of the structural stones of the holy well bear carvings, inscriptions and graffiti, mostly 19th century. One bears a carved human figure with a moon-like face similar to that on the leacht cuimhne or memorial to the Comyn family (CL003-021004-) c. 30 to the NNW. According to Coffey (1995, 16-17) the rock scribing at the well was originally part of the leacht.
