On a gentle S-facing slope on the E side of a narrow valley floor between Gleninagh ‘Mountain’ and Cappanawalla Hill and within a field system (CL002-070001-). Marked on Robinson’s map (1977). Listed as ‘Enclosure (possible)’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A poorly preserved almost circular cashel (int. dims. 21.4m N–S; 20.9m E–W crest to crest) defined by a low grassed-over stone spread (Wth at base 4.9–7.1m; Wth at crest 2.6–4.5m). A rectangular house site (CL002-031002-) is visible inside the cashel, W of the centre. A derelict building abuts the NW and a second derelict building lies 2m to the S.
