Gateway, extant 1837, on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of repointed granite ashlar piers on moulded cushion courses on plinths having "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed cornices below shallow pyramidal capping supporting spear head-detailed wrought iron double gates with repointed granite ashlar outer piers on moulded cushion courses on plinths having "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed cornices below shallow pyramidal capping. Repositioned, 2000. Lane fronted at entrance to grounds of Saint Columba's College.
