Saint Columba's College — Kilmashogue Lane

Detached three- or five-bay single-storey cricket pavilion, built 1866, on a T-shaped plan with single-bay (single-bay deep) single-storey lower central return (south). Renovated, 2010. Diagonal slate-detailed hipped slate roof centred on hipped slate roof (south); bitumen felt-covered curvilinear hipped roof to front (north) elevation on timber posts on cut-granite chamfered padstones, clay ridge tiles, paired louvered timber "lucarnes" to front (north) pitch, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods on timber eaves boards on exposed timber rafters retaining cast-iron downpipes. Repointed red brick Flemish bond wall to front (north) elevation on rendered plinth; rendered, ruled and lined surface finish (remainder). Square-headed central door opening with cut-granite step threshold, and repointed red brick voussoirs framing timber panelled double doors. Segmental-headed niches centred on paired square-headed flanking window openings with cut-granite sills, and repointed red brick voussoirs framing timber boarded folding fittings. Square-headed window openings to rear (south) elevation with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing three-over-three timber sash windows. Set in landscaped grounds shared with Saint Columba's College.
