Terraced two-bay four-storey over basement former townhouse, built c. 1825, with two-storey flat-roofed return to rear (south). Now in use as offices. M-profiled slate roof, concealed by brick parapet with granite coping, parapet gutters, rendered chimneystacks with lipped yellow clay pots to east and west party walls. Brown-brick walling laid to Flemish bond, rendered walling to basement with granite stringcourse. Square-headed window openings with brick voussoirs, patent reveals and granite sills. Replacement six-over-six sliding timber sash windows with convex horns, replacement three-over-three timber casement to third floor and similar six-over-six timber casement to basement. Round-headed door opening with engaged Doric columns supporting plain frieze and cornice surmounted by replacement leaded fanlight over six-panelled door. Granite entrance platform with cast-iron boot scraper approached by four granite steps flanked by iron railings with a decorative central cast-iron post over granite plinth, enclosing basement area. Coal hole cover to pavement.
