Brown brick laid in Flemish bond to front having rendered parapet and cut granite plinth course over rendered walls to basement level. Brown brick walls laid in Flemish bond to rear of no.31, rendered walls to rear of no.30. Square-headed window openings having cut stone sills. Round-arched stair windows to rear. Replacement uPVC windows. Round-arched door openings each having painted masonry surround with engaged Ionic columns supporting fluted frieze and cornice and timber panelled door. Petal fanlight to no.31, plain fanlight to no.30. Two steps to entrance platform having rendered boundary wall between entrances. Basement areas enclosed by cut granite plinth wall with metal railings. Access to basement area by recent staircases from pavement level. Cast-iron coal hole covers set in granite paving to front.
