What is recorded here

Iron turnstile gate and entrance screen to Phoenix Park, erected c.1835. Partially intact iron gate comprising iron screen fixed to ground and to granite lintel, set within round-plan iron structure. Granite ashlar surround with stacked limestone coping flanked by bowed rubble stone walls supporting spear-headed cast-iron railings embedded into park boundary wall. To park side entrance is sloping tarmac footpath with cast-iron handrail.
