Single-arch bridge, built c.1840, to carry road over narrow channel between Lough Dromore and Inner Lough. Cast-iron arch and spandrels, composed of four aligned sections, supported by splayed stone abutments. Cast-iron shouldered rectangular panels to line of arch and to base of carriageway, with decorative lattice between. Wrought-iron railings with some recent mild steel replacements forming parapet to centre section of bridge. Cut-stone abutments, having squared coursed stone to impost level, and ashlar stone walls above. Cut-stone string course to top. Square-plan cut and carved stone piers, with pointed caps and pointed fluted panels to faces. Cut-stone parapet walls to abutments, some parapet walls missing. Set in former Dawson Grove demesne.
