What is recorded here

Freestanding rectangular-plan sandstone-built mausoleum, erected c.1820. Tooled stone barrel-vaulted roof, having raised parapet wall to east elevation, and tooled sandstone copings. Segmental-headed gable to front (south) elevation, flanked by square-plan corner piers having recessed shouldered panels with rounded tops, on square plinths. Tooled stone coping to parapet of front, tooled dome caps to piers. Ashlar masonry to front, coursed squared rubble stone to other elevations. Blocked segmental-headed opening to front with chamfered tooled sandstone surround. Sited to west of Saint Aidan’s Church.
