Entrance gateway to former railway station, built c.1855. Ashlar limestone piers on square plan, upper part, including caps having octagonal plan. Caps are domed and mimic roofs, with moulded 'eaves' and ball finials. Gates now missing. Flanking boundary walls are of rubble limestone with cut-stone copings.
