Sundial associated with Portnason House (see 40910764), erected c. 1840, comprising a dressed ashlar plinth (on circular-plan) having chamfered dressed ashlar table/platform over with central copper sundial mechanism having graduated dial face on (circular-plan) with perforated gnomon over. Set on section of modern flagstone paving in lawned area. Located to the front (south) of Portnason House in extensive mature landscaped grounds, and to the south-west of Ballyshannon town centre.
