Gateway, erected c. 1850, rebuilt c. 1970. Decorative painted wrought-iron diamond-latticed double gates with scrolled wrought-iron latch, on modern rectangular roughcast rendered piers flanked by modern quadrant plinth walls surmounted by wrought-iron lattice grid-pattern railings and ended by outer roughcast rendered piers; polygonal rendered jostle stones to south side of main piers, to east side of west outer pier and to west side of east outer pier. Gateway slightly set back from road, enclosing main concrete driveway leading from south to former Birdstown House.
