What is recorded here

Vehicular gates, piers and wall screen, built c.1790, forming entrance to Red Hills estate. Square-profile ashlar piers with cornice over plain frieze crowned having pine cone finials fitting into foliated carved cups. Gate stops treated as pilasters with scrolled top rising from advanced base. Cast- and wrought-iron double gates with spear-headed finials. Straight and convex wall sweep of roughly coursed rubble limestone masonry topped with plain ashlar stone.
