Freestanding cast-iron water hydrant, c.1910. Fluted shaft with ogee base. Capital comprising fluted dome with acorn finial and moulded necking with integral spout. Decorative bucket-stand fitted to bottom of shaft. Recent tap to side of cap. Imprint to shaft reading 'SHANNON FOUNDRY LIMERICK'. Set back from streetline on round-profile iron plinth.
