What is recorded here

Stone entrance gate screen, built c. 1825. Large square pillars carrying carriage gates, flanked by smaller similarly-detailed pillars carrying pedestrian gates flanked by curved sweep walls to road. Tooled ashlar limestone pillars, moulded plinths, moulded cornices, square caps. Mild steel gates with cast-iron embellishments c. 2000. Random rubble limestone sweep walls, saddleback stone copings. Gravel surface to area between gates and road.
