Detached underground coal bunkers, built c. 1840. Long narrow below-ground tunnel extending east-west at roadside, three openings to south side stepping uphill, entrance to east end. Rubble stone segmental vaulted roof. Rubble stone walling. Square-headed openings to road, tooled limestone dressings, rebated jambs. Single segmental-headed opening to east, tooled limestone rebated jambs and voussoirs. Stable yard to east.
