Detached multiple-bay single-storey former hermitage style gate lodge, built c.1860, now ruinous. Rustic river-worn stone to walls with pointed-arched openings. Roof has been removed. Remains of plaster to interior walls and fire opening. Triple-arch rustic entrance gate, built c.1860, affording access to Kilronan Castle. Comprising river-worn boulders to pointed-arched openings. Wrought-iron gates to pedestrian entrances. Single-arch bridge over stream to west of gate, with cut stone voussoirs to arch-ring.
