Freestanding cast-iron water pump, erected c.1860, now disused. Comprising cylindrical shaft with raised horizontal banding, fluted upper section with spout and fluted ogee-domed cap with finial. The spout has foliate decoration where it meets the neck. Cow tail style handle. Stone trough to front. Pump situated at a prominent corner within Ballyforan.
