What is recorded here

Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1870, with two-storey return to rear. Pitched slate roof with cut stone chimneystacks and carved timber bargeboards. Ruled-and-lined render to walls with plinth course and quoins. Square-headed window openings with stone sills and timber sash windows, canted-bay windows to ground floor, paired round-headed windows to central bay of first floor. Round-headed entrance with steps and timber panelled door with sidelights and cobweb fanlight. Cobbled yard to rear with stone stable block with pitched slate roof, yard accessed through cast-iron gates set within cut stone piers. House and yard set on elevated site within mature gardens. Bounded by random coursed stone wall and rendered wall with cut stone piers with pyramidal caps and cast-iron gate. Pedestrian cast-iron gate with stone steps gives access to house.
