Freestanding single-bay single-stage blast furnace, extant 1838, on a square plan. Disused, 1897. Repaired, 2010. Coursed rubble limestone battered walls with lichen-covered rough hewn or squared limestone flush quoins to corners. Single round or segmental casting or tapping arch (north) with hammered limestone voussoirs centred on rough hewn limestone keystone.
